Beach Fest Desert Auction 2010

Sunday the 18th was the North Bend Church of Christ's annual Potato Bar and Dessert Auction in order to raise funds for the youth rally "Beach Fest" that we put on every year. This year we succesfully raise $1300 which is fantastic!

The Teens serving at the potato bar.

Look at all those yummy desserts!

One of the men in the church made this rocking horse out of myrtlewood to auction off!!

My contribution was two different types of cupcakes because I was wanting to auction them off in smaller amounts this year to make them more affordable to those who want to participate with their smaller budget.

The first set of cupcakes were called Black Hole Cupcakes and were made from scratch dark chocolate with rasberry preserve filling. The frosting was made from scratch chocolate rasberry.

The second cupcake batch was also made from scratch chocolate with a peanut butter ball center. The frosting was a Peanut Butter/Cool Whip/Cream cheese mix.

I wish I could have been there to buy "all" of your yummy cupcakes. Do the plates go with the cupcakes? Love, Mema
