Molly Month 2 (1 month late)
Our little Molly girl,
By the end of this month things became slightly easier for all of us in the Davis household. I don't know if you are getting easier or we are just learning better! We are so blessed to have you as part of our family even though you are the grumpiest little thing. You sure love to snuggle with us so I think I finally have my snuggle bug in you sweet girl! We can't wait to see you smile and interact with us more as we get to know you better. Your little brother loves you so much and loves to ask me "Can Molly be big and play with me!" He also loves to give you hugs and kisses as do your daddy and I.
~ At your 2 month appointment you weighed in at 11lbs 13oz (75%) and were 23.5 inches long (87%) You did great getting your shots and although you cried it was no worse then your normal tears. The nurse also said that you did great with the oral rotovirus and finished it faster then she's ever seen. Probably because we give you your milk cold.
~You are drinking 4oz bottles and by the end of the month sometimes even 6oz roughly every 3 hours but sometimes even sooner depending on how hungry you are! At this rate you sure are going to be one super cute chunky monkey!
~You are now in size 1 diapers and I can still get you into some newborn although you are now more in the 0-3 month clothing range.
~ You have been sleeping great in your pack-n-play in our room since the transition. You normally go to bed around 10:00pm and wake to eat between 3-4am and then go back to sleep for another 3 hours.
~Towards the end of the month you started intentionally smiling although they are few and far between as why you are still my little miss grump.
~ You hardly ever let us put you down during the day but you have started taking more interest in the "friends" on your play gym and you like the bouncy vibrating chair. So I get my hands free for around 30 minutes a day ; ) You also do like to be worn in the Ergo which is my saving grace to actually get a few things done around the house.
~The hiccups still bother you but at least you don't cry because of them anymore.
~ Your eyes are still a blue/gray color, who knows what color they will end up being!
