B is for

B

B is for books. If you know me you know how much I love to read, it is my escape from the real world and any worries I have. It is also my favorite way to pass time. However, during the school year I never let myself read anything for pleasure because I would not be productive at all. But now that its summer I love making trips to the library and just lounging around reading. One of my favorite authors is Lori Wick who writes Christian Romance Fiction. I like this because it has good story lines that are romantic and CLEAN, no graphic love scenes here!

We are going to do the ABC's of our life...One letter a day...Here we go!!

A

A is for Apple, I know this is boring and the atypical post for the letter A but it is important because it is basically the only fruit that Carter will eat. And, it can't be any type of Apple, it must be a Green Apple, preferably Granny Smith. Carter's diet is not full of junk but it hardly consists of any fruits and vegetables so when I find out there is one he likes I attempt to buy it all the time in the hope that he will eat it and not die at the age of 40 from lack of a well-balanced diet.

Fun at the Zoo

Today we took Carsten to the zoo and although there was 50% chance of rain it was beautiful all day. Carsten is such a sweet kid and we had fun with him and it was nice to borrow somebodys elses kid and have a good time. By the end of our almost 4 hours at the zoo we were pooped but enjoyed our day. Sorry I'm Late!!!

HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!!!

I'm sorry this well wish is so late but I was feeling not too hott this weekend. I hope you all had a great day full of love, smiles, and happiness.

Wow it's been a while and a lot has happened!!

Well many things have happened since my last post, we've had rat babies, I've graduated, got a new car, and we have celebrated our first wedding anniversary!!

Most important is our one year anniversary, we didn't do anything really great because Carter is in Summer School and we don't have tons of extra money to spend right now. Carter was super sweet though and got me 2 massages at a nearby spa and brought me flowers last night after he got of work! I got him a hand-held back massager as well as some movies that he's been wanting for a while and some of his favorite candy from our local candy store. I've decided that it is a lot easier for a man to be romantic for his wife then for a wife to be romantic for her husband so I tried to do the best I could...and he seemed to like it.

The next big accomplishment in my life is that I finally graduated!!! On April 25th I walked across the stage and received my diploma with my family watching in the audience. It was great having my family visit, especially since I haven't seen them since Christmas!! We had a lot of fun and they were great and co-signed our loan for us so I could get my car which I couldn't have done without them! I love my fam and truly wish that I could see them more often. I also want to thank everyone for their well wishes, thought, gifts and cards for my graduation. I am so thankful you are all part of my life.

Finally, our new little rat kept getting fatter and fatter and Carter and I were joking on how she might be pregnant and then I looked it up and found out that she was. She had 12 little rat babies which we kept for two weeks and were going to keep them for their total 4 but they smelt so awful that we gave them back as well as their mom because we didn't want to deal with them anymore.
