New Babies

The first and most important is my good friend Danielle's baby boy who was born today. His name is Ryan Carter Little and he was born March 25th @ 1:10 pm. He weighs 8.2 and is 20 inches. I arrived at the hospital at 9:00 this morning and waited it out with some of her fam in the waiting room. Although he was born at 1:10 I didn't get to go in until about 3:30 because everyone went in in shifts and since I wasn't family I was last. Danielle did a great job though and he is absolutely precious and perfectly healthy. I wish he would have opened his eyes a little for me but he was just way to tired. I'm looking forward to going back tomorrow to see him though. Here are some pictures....

The second new baby is the one newly purchased to be splinters new friend because she is lonely. She is an albino so she has white fur and red eyes. Although I think she is ugly she is sweet and Carter thinks she looks "Awesome". Here they are as they meet for the first time. She still doesn't have a name yet so any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Do Teeth Depreciate in value??

Carter and I went in to the dentist this week and although our insurance is GREAT, we are still going to have to pay an arm and a leg. I have two cavities which honestly isn't that bad considering I haven't been to the dentis in 2-3 years. But what my mom didn't ever tell me is that those fillings are expensive. We're going to have to pay about 200 just to get my teeth fixed. Then, Carter is a whole other story. He sat down in the chair and after they did all the standard x-rays, they didn't even clean his teeth. They looked at them and said, we can't even clean them right now, we need to schedule a seperate appointment for a "deep cleaning" where they will have to give him drugs...and what's the low price of that visit??? Oh, only 400 dollars...and that doesn't even include whatever cavities they find...and did I mention that first he has to have his wisdom teeth pulled. I guess thats why you should go to the dentist more frequently then every 5-6 years. Man, with all the money we will be putting into our teeth I sure hope it will be worth it, but I bet that it's better then our teeth falling out and rotting on us. Anyways...goodbye car, hello teeth...oh I hope not!!!

Spring Break is officially here!!!

And with that means that there is a little over a month left in my college career!!! Woohoo!!!

This week Carter and I aren't doing much. Since it is our only week with free time I booked all of our long overdue doctors appointments this week. The most exciting one will be our trip to the dentist where we will get a free teeth whitening because we are new patients and they had a promotion going on!! I will also be hunting down leads for a real 9-5 job once I graduate which is kinda scary and exciting all at the same time. Hopefully we will both also catch up on our studies and maybe even get a little ahead...but I always say that and it never quite seems to happen.
