So this is life

Our house is a wreck!

Seriously, it looks like somebody ran through and tossed stuff everywhere. Oh maybe it was our almost 1 year old, oh yeah and we are moving...hmmm makes a bit more sense.

I am tired of packing, tired of boxes, tired of chaos. I am ready to be done.

But it will be worth it!

We are starting a new chapter, and this is the part where the book is starting to get really good! Our future holds new opportunities, a wonderful new church family, more time with real family, fun in a city, and we are SO EXCITED!!

Target, Red Robin, Hobby Lobby, look out here we come!!

So this is life right now, crazy, chaos, and excitement all wrapped up into one.

Sneak Peak

I took Mason's Birthday Pictures today that we'll display at his celebration! It was hard work, he is to the point where extra hands would be helpful. Here is a teaser for you!

11 Months (a little late)

Oh sweet Mason, As excited as I am for you to be getting older, the closer you get to one and the harder that becomes for me to accept! Now that you are so mobile you are so funny to watch, you are all over the place getting into everything you shouldn't and looking at us before you do because you totally know it may not be okay. We love playing with you and daddy has gotten to enjoy participating in some "wrestling" activities with you. It is so fun to see you experience so many firsts and we love helping you experience them.  We can't wait to have many more "firsts" with you.

8/9/12- Today you surprised mommy by pulling yourself up holding onto the futon, you've done this a couple times in your box but that has been a while. Towards the end of the month you have been doing this with more and more frequencey and are so proud of yourself when you do!!

8/9/12- You started truly crawling today, out of the blue and boy are you quick!

~The beginning of this month your two top teeth began their appearance. You handled them like a trooper but we could tell it hurt much worse this time around.

~First VBS this month. You helped mommy with the games station and were a huge hit with the kids.

~ You are the best hugger ever!! When you wrap both arms around our neck we turn into mush, mush I tell you!!

8/8- First wipeout with blood. you were trying to pull up on the futon and smashed your head into it chin first. Your bottom teeth cut into your top gums and you had a mark on your chin too poor baby.

~You enjoy pulling all the DVD's off the shelf and scattering them EVERYWHERE!! It sure keeps mommy and daddy on our toes!

~You are getting better and better at mimicking our noises. You can click your tongue when we do and smack your lips together. You have become stubborn as of late though and refuse to clap or wave bye bye on command anymore.

~You have learned how to blow spit bubbles, it is pretty funny to watch you experiment.

~We went to the zoo this month with mamaw and papaw and you had so much fun although you were a tired guy from our interview weekend. You enjoyed just hanging out and being surrounded by people!

~We found out your love for pushing cars around while staying at the Smith's. You were transfixed with pushing them all over! So of course we had to buy a couple for you here at home.

The stats for you this month are that we are still primarily cloth diapering but when you are in disposables you are a size 3. You have transitioned your formula out of straw cups 3x a day with a bottle still at night. You also are eating 3 "meals" a day consisting of all sorts of fun things. You love feeding yourself and do it so quickly we have to stop you and encourage you to go slow. Your favorites still are fruit and sweet potatoes. You have 5 teeth, 2 on top, 3 on bottom with another one trying to make it's way through.
