3 Months
Oh my goodness how time has already flown by. I remember before Mason was born I made a few decisions about what I would start when he was 3 months old, thinking that was so far away, but here we are so soon. So this month we will be transitioning him to his crib in his room not the pack n' play in our room *tear*. We will also start using cloth diapers and see how we like those. Finally we will go from nursing and the bottle to just the bottle, but honestly he already started this transition himself. Not a day goes by that I am not thankful for this smiling bundle of joy in our lifes and I know his daddy feels the same!
Here are some things we want to remember!!!
-This month we packed away all of Mason's newborn clothes, it was so sad but we are moving on to bigger adventures.
- Mason is now in primarily 0-3 month clothes but some 3 month depending on the brand although they are pretty loose. He is long and skinny so it is hard getting clothes to fit right.
- He is in size 1 diapers.
- Your smiles are bigger and more contagious then ever, especially when you see mommy and daddy
- You went on a grand adventure this month and did wonderful!
- You also went on another road trip to visit your Mamaw and papaw in Washington for Christmas and I'm surprised we were able to take you back home with us ; )
- It has been fun watching you notice your cousin Grayson this month as well.
- You discovered your hands at 2 1/2 months and it has been funny watching you watch them and learning how to get them in your mouth. You also are drooling more so hand in mouth + drool = one HUGE mess.
-You are becoming more active which daddy loves.
- You still dislike tummy time so we are having to become creative with ways to strenghthen your head muscles.
- Your playmat "friends" are still your favorite and you can stare at them for quite some time.
- Sometimes you will sleep through a feeding if we are out and about but when we are home you eat every 3 hours and WILL LET US KNOW LOUDLY if we take too long getting you your food.
- You have consistently slept for the past few weeks from 10:30pm to about 6:00am sometimes even later!
-Your eyebrows are so expressive and will raise a lot in a "I'm not sure about this" kind of look.
-You are close to laughing and sometimes will let out a noise like you want to laugh but that is as far as you can get!
